Hi, I have purchased 2 h2o wireless nano sims for when we head to las vega. I brought them off eBay- they are starter kits. I have activated them with no problems but when I try and recharge it says authentication failed. Can anyone help me as to why this is happening? I am putting in my h2o phone number, credit card detail then for address I am putting in our hotel details.
It also asks for a zip code which I just googled and there seems to be a lot coming up for vegas so I put in 89101? I really wanted to get this set up before we fly out on the weekend. Would it be easier to activate them here them get recharge voucher when we get to LA airport? I am just worried that it may still not work and we will be stuck without phones. I have the same issue buying airtime from for US based cell phone. The wireless companies seem to only accept US based credit cards. In my case, AirVoiceWireless directed me to I see H2O airtime offered on there too.

Like you I bought a stack of SIM cards on eBay so am ready for the next trip to the US. Smart move on your part to get your US cell number pre-arranged. I've tried buying SIM cards after landing in the US and it's a hassle. I never did manage to buy one and wasted a lot of hours walking and driving to cellular stores. Edited: 07 August 2014, 20:39.
